CanonRumors has released a new rumor that Canon is coming out with an APS-C camera tailored to vloggers.
They were told that it's similar to the M6 Mark II (so I would imagine no EVF) and features a new type of articulating LCD.
It would seem strange to see a new type of LCD on this camera since Canon's usual fully articulating LCD is most suited for video, versus photography. An LCD that flips up (similar to the

Even if you don't want to deep dive into settings like ISO or White Balance, thes

It's never too early to nurture your child's creativity, after all it could end up being a career path or a lifelong hobby of theirs.
Nowadays, photography is simpler than ever thanks to smartphones, but for younger kids who may not have access to a smartphone a traditional camera is just as good, if not better.
When choosing the best camera for your smaller children or teenagers there's a few things to firstly consider. You'll want to find something that isn't too technical, with too many adjustments to possibly confuse them. You'll also want to ensure the camera isn't too bulky and nice and simple to carry around with them.
Many of the cameras out today even have instant printing abilities, like ... Read more »

The Panasonic Lumix GH6 is the latest model in the hugely popular series aimed at hybrid shooters and demanding videographers. Panasonic loaned me a pre-production model to test, and in this first-looks review I’ll show you everything I’ve learned about it so far. I’m going to concentrate on the video capabilities here with a brief look at photo quality, then follow-up later with anything I’ve missed.
Teased in May 2021 and officially launched in February 2022, the GH6 costs $2199 or 1999 pounds for the body alone. Like its predecessors, it’s a mirrorless camera based on the Micro Four Thirds standard, with headline features including 4k 120p, 5.7k ProRes internal, unlimited recording

The Canon EOS R5C is a hybrid cinema camera based on the EOS R5 and aimed at pro videographers, resolving many of the frustrations of the original model. Announced in January 2022, the EOS R5C arrives roughly two years after the original R5 was first officially teased, and costs around $4500 or pounds – so you’re paying a 300 pound or $600 premium over the R5.
As you all know by now, everyone loved the movie quality of the R5, especially 4k HQ, 4k 120 and 8k RAW, but no-one liked the fact it would overheat in any of those modes and require a full shutdown to properly cool down. Some found ways to work-around it, but others wished for a version with sufficient heat management to make it practical for their needs.
And that’s where the R5C comes in, at first glance an R5 with the screen pus

The new shooter relies on a Canon-designed 24.1 megapixel backside-illuminated CMOS sensor capable of capturing up to 150 14-bit RAW photos at 30 shots a second when using the electronic shutter.

Its ISO range spans from ISO 100 to 204,800 and autofocus can still lock on with light as low as -7.5 EV. There are 1050 autofocus points here as well.
Canon gave a big boost to its Eye input AF that now allows you to focus on a

When it comes to mirrorless cameras under $1,000, there are many good options nowadays. These bodies offer a great balance of image quality, compact size and control, all wrapped up in an affordable package.
That said, there's a reason these cameras remain less expensive: they lack some of the features of their high-end brethren. So when browsing these bodies, know from the get-go that you're choosing among intermediate cameras. A pro might find some features lacking, while a beginner might think some of the controls are overkill. For many, though, that's precisely why these cameras hit such a sweet spot.

(Pocket-lint) - Sony has announced a new camera for its vlogger-centric ZV lineup called the ZV-E10, and this one's more than a little different to the first model.
The most obvious change from the ZV-1 is the interchangeable lens mount on the front. Like so many of Sony's other cameras, it's an E-mount, which means lots of lenses available to fit it.
It's still a really compact camera though, designed to be carried around and shooting handheld.
And it's not just the mount that's new, it has an APS-C sensor too, just like the larger A6000-series models. Specifically, it's a 24.2-megapixel CMOS sensor.
It's capable of shooting 4K at 30fps, with full pixel readout and no binning.

Sony has announced the new ZV-E10, a mirrorless camera designed for vloggers and video creators, with E-mount interchangeable lens support, 4K video, and live streaming support.
We review Sigma's 61mp mirrorless camera, the Sigma fp L with a full-frame sensor, L-Mount, and 4K video recording, as well as a new electronic viewfinder, the EVF-11.
Quick Verdict
The Sigma fp L is currently the smallest and cheapest mirrorless camera with a 61mp full-frame sensor. It has improved focus, but still remains relatively slow compared to other cameras. For the videographer or CINE film-maker, this camera might be ideal, and the price is certainly good value for money. For the stills photographer, the handling of the camera can feel a little odd, particularly if you use the camera without the optional grip.
You'll also find that many of the L-Mount lenses available are quite large, and therefore feel unbalanc

The Sony Alpha A7S Mark III is Sony's new "low-light" full-frame mirrorless camera, with a 12mp sensor, it should offer impressive noise performance for both stills photography, and 4K video recording. Videographers are going to be particularly interested in this camera as it features 4K video at 120fps, FullHD at 240fps, as well as in-body image stabilisation.
